one year.

I've had this little buddy for a year now, which also means that I've been single for that long.
It has flown by, and sometimes feels like it was just yesterday.

It has been a great year of trials and tribulations, as well as many joys. And I can tell that those things will continue to happen. That's life. I need to learn to take those things in stride. To welcome all with open arms.

I find that when life gives me even the smallest struggle, I reel back, and feel as if nothing ever goes right. But that's not true! We're meant to go through those struggles to gain strength, to become a greater person. I often forget about the many joys and blessings in life, and tend to focus on the bad. If I keep living this way, it will pass me by, and before I know it I'll be much older and miserable. No one wants that.

Life is about struggles and smiles. I must embrace each of these things!

I also forgot to mention that it's been a year since I started this blog! Thank you to everyone for continuing to read, despite my complaints and cries. It really has been great, and it's been fun to write about my life! I hope to continue doing so.
