I've decided to make a bucket list. This past year I made a list titled "2012 Aspirations", and I've honestly almost completed my list. Lists do great things for me. I like to be organized, whether it be for groceries, going on a trip, or things that I have to do for the week. I find that if I physically make the list (whether in writing or on the computer or on my phone), then I actually get everything on it done! So I'm excited to start this. It is so typical and almost cliche to do, which I'm not fond of (yes I am a slight hipster), but it will be exciting! I also like to make a list and put things on it that may be a little challenging, to encourage myself to step out and be brave! We'll see how this goes. It is a small list so far, but here it is:
1. Movie hop
2. Ride in a hot air balloon
3. Swim in every ocean
4. See the 7 Natural Wonders of the world
That's it so far! I know that it's not long, but hey, I just started it this morning!
This picture that I took this morning started it all:
Did you see them in the sky this morning?
At work we were talking about hot air balloon rides, and one of my coworkers told us about her ride when she was in Turkey, and how fun it was. So I decided that someday I want to go in one too. It would be beautiful up in the sky above everything, floating in space. Right then I decided to make a bucket list. There are a few things that I already had in mind, so here they are!
On a totally different topic, something is wrong with me. I'm loving boy bands and pop music lately! You have already heard about my obsession with JB (yes I abbreviated his name), and now I have discovered One Direction. Uh oh! The funny thing is, I'm not even embarrassed about it. I am who I am. Those of you that know me know that I love High School Musical and that I've gone to a Jonas Brothers concert, so yes, I have a few guilty pleasures. Am I going through a quarter-life crisis? All I know is that they are happy-go-lucky songs, and I love to turn them up in my car. But don't worry! I won't be plastering my walls in posters and wearing their faces on my chest anytime soon (although Zac Efron used to be on the back of my door). I will, however, continue to be simply me :)
First of all, One Direction are adorable. And as I always say, the term "guilty pleasure" insinuates that you have something to be embarrassed about. Why would you be embarrassed about something that's peppy and makes you happy? Make shame your stranger! :D
