random act.

I left my house thinking that I was going to write about my time in Mexico, and how nice it is to have great friends to spend time with.

I got in my car to drive to Starbucks, and got completely stuck in the snow. Like, VERY stuck. Some guy was driving past, saw me, and stopped to help.

So instead, I'm going to write about random acts of kindness and how awesome they are.

Has it ever happened to you?
Maybe you've been the one to spread some love.

I love receiving them, but it's also fun and rewarding to give out. A random act of kindness can be so small, yet so big in consequence. I feel like it can completely change someone's mood, and make their day that much better.
I know that I was quite annoyed when my car got stuck in the snow. I was annoyed because it was cold out and I just wanted to go.
Then this man comes along and completely redeems the day. And I have no clue who he is. He drove away as soon as I could get out of the snow.
The unknown almost makes it better. I'll never see him again, but who cares? He was willing to help someone out that he's never met before. That shows a lot of dignity.

Really, how hard is it to do? (I'll leave it at that)

J.
