blessed.

I haven't written in quite a while, ahhh! I'm sorry readers. I've been busy with ballet, yoga, work, dinner with fam, and what not! But it has been good. So today that is what I am going to talk about: the good life.

This morning I completely slept during my alarm, and even hit "sleep" multiple times while still sleeping. Thus I had less time to get ready, so I didn't pack a lunch, and decided to buy instead.
It snowed a bit during the day, so at lunch I had to brush off my car before heading out. While doing so it hit me just how good I have it, and how good many of us have it here in North America. The fact that I have a car to brush off, and money to go buy myself some lunch, is a complete blessing. Do you realize it? Most of us have warm houses to call home, cars that get us from A to B, families that love us,  food to keep us from going hungry, and jobs that keep all of those things within our reach. And those are just some of the major things that we can be thankful for. There are so many more! Especially in this climate, and coming up to Christmas, I can really feel God's hand of grace. My siblings and I have a christmas list posted on my parent's fridge. I have four family christmases to go to, and I'm not even dating anyone! I was able to enjoy a lovely dinner with all of my coworkers last night. My beautiful kitten gives me love after every work day. I have friend's birthdays to celebrate. Enjoying Starbucks is a weekly ritual for me. Baking arrives daily at my work. My supervisor gave me a bag full of vegetables from her fridge because she's going to be gone for 5 days and they'll go bad. My bed is warm and comfy. I have siblings to call friends. And the list goes on! Ridiculous how spoiled we are. This season I hope that each and every one of you take just a moment to be thankful for this life, and everything that we are blessed with. It truly is remarkable.
