music: the great communicator.

Lately, all that I seem to be obsessed with is music. My roommate told me that I need to stay away from HMV because I buy at least 3 new albums every time that I'm there. It's a great release; both in that I can get away from the world and absorb myself in it, and in that so much music expresses how I'm feeling in so many ways. In ways that I myself could never get out.

So, here are some of my recent purchases:

The Lumineers

One of the best albums that I've ever bought. Good happy foot stomping music. Reminds me of Mumford and Sons with the "ho heys" and musical instruments. Seriously obsessed with this album at the moment.
Recommended Songs: 1, 5, 7
Keane - Strangeland

Recommended to me by a friend, I've only just start listening to it. His voice reminds me of The Killers, but a bit more happy-go-lucky with the keyboard interludes.
Passion Pit - Gossamer

Some seriously good tunes. I've you've never listened to them, you should.
Blink 182 - Greatest Hits

I simply bought this album to rock out a little in my car, and belt out their songs along with the album. Makes me reminisce of years gone by.
Adam Cohen - Like A Man

Great acoustic numbers. My kind of music. Best listened to in Starbucks while drinking a latte.

The Wallflowers - Bringing Down the Horse

Kind of introduced to me by my ex (weird to say), this classic band is great to listen to while on a road trip. Love the whole album.

These are just a few of the albums that I've recently bought. Other purchases in the last 2 months included Eminem, Justin Bieber, Mother Mother, Peter Bjorn and John, Bon Iver, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer.

I am always looking for new music, so suggestions are greatly appreciated! I can't wait to continue expanding my music library.
