the here and now.

FINALLY I'm feeling better. After two weeks of being quite sick, I'm back. Which means its time to get started on life!

The other day I had a kind of scary and exciting thought: I can't wait until the day that I have a companion for life. ie. a husband. Scary, yes I know. But how awesome I bet it is to have someone that will always be there, that you can go out and enjoy the world with. I can't wait until I have that. Lately I've been wanting to do things, but don't always have anyone to do things with. And as much as I love spending time by myself, its nice to have someone to share life with. I was thinking about this last night when my roomie, her friend and I went to Mother Mother. It was awesome, but for some reason made me think about having someone next to me, sharing in that moment.

Do you ever think about the future, about 5 years from now, and wonder where you are and who you'll be with? I have a hard time picturing it. But I know that it will be awesome. I hope that I am very happy and that I've accomplished some of my dreams (after all, in 5 years I will be 30!).


On a side note, I bought this fantastic book today! I intend to read and examine every page of it, and use it as inspiration to start my fashion drawings.
